Living in Maryland and building a home in Pennsylvania is a challenge when you do not drive, but the Summit Home employees kept the lines of communication open and called me with the details of my home. They are very knowledgeable and make the process of buying a home a pleasurable experience. The sales manager, Marlena McElroy, was very informative and honest with the entire process of building my home. Walt Calaman was informative and patient with all my questions when I went through the walk-thru process. In my opinion, Marlena and Walt are great assets to your company and you should be complimented for hiring two such knowledgeable employees.

Summit Homes built my dream retirement house. The open floor plan is spacious and bright and makes cleaning easy. I absolutely love my kitchen. It is not only gorgeous but conveniently arranged with an island that makes it easy to accommodate serving large crowds. One could not ask for larger closets in the guest bedrooms and the walk in closet in the Master bedroom is wonderful. The seat in the master shower is convenient. The windows all through the house lets in the outside light to keep you smiling all day. The patio doors give you convenience to the outside for a patio or deck. The furnace and air conditioning is very efficient. Using the gas fireplace not only warms up the entire house, but gives you the feeling of being hugged.

The hardwood floors sparkle and are easy to clean. The neighborhood has a friendly atmosphere where you feel safe and secure and know your neighbors. The community provides planned activities giving neighbors the chance to intermingle and get to know each other.

As a widow deciding to move from one state to another and build a home without being nearby to watch was stressful. However, Kim Corridon, Sales Lady in the model home, made it less stressful by sending me weekly pictures as my house progressed upwards. I would call with questions and she was always willing to obtain answers for me. The quality of construction is excellent. I am extremely happy in my Summit Tighman dream retirement home and love the 55+Community and the Town of Hanover.
